Chanoko MTB Duathlon #3 - Two mile run, twelve mile MTB, two mile run
These Chanoko races are great races to tune up for your XTERRA racing
season or just good ol cross training.
What a great weekend to be
outdoors no matter what sport. The Chanoko course was fast dry and
smooth. Dennis Manor who won the last Chanoko was there and put in a
fast run right off the bat. Phillip Glen and I went into this one
tied for the series win. He and Tom Lyons definitely pushed me out
on the bike course going back and forth. I managed to get to the
transition in first and hold it on the run for the overall win
followed by Phillip and Tom.
Meiling Yee won the womens overall and
series age group winners received free entry to next years series.
Orosi Road race is next for me and then back to Granite Bay for the
TBF Real MTB Tri which is part of the XTERRA Series.
